Hi, I’m Matthew Blythe, a photographer and digital artist based in Devon. I specialise in capturing the unique charm of South Devon’s coastline — from the pier in Teignmouth, Shaldon Beach to the classic seaside spirit of Dawlish.

My work blends photography with digital design to create retro travel poster-inspired prints that celebrate the places we know and love. Each piece begins with my own photography, taken on location, and is then carefully crafted into bold, nostalgic artwork that feels timeless yet modern. I use a blend of AI and Photoshop to achieve this.

Every print is produced by me, in-house, using professional Canon pigment inks on gallery-grade Fototspeed Lustre 310gsm paper. This means you’re not just buying a poster — you’re investing in a piece designed to last for decades without fading. Each order is personally checked, packaged with care, and shipped free within the UK.

Why I Do This

I started to combine my passion for photography, local heritage, and visual storytelling to find a new way to connect with people, share my love of the area and reduce something unique. The South Devon coast has always been home to me, and through my work I aim to capture not just the scenery, but the memories and emotions tied to it — seaside holidays, sunsets on the beach, or simply the feeling of coming home.
