Photographer Contributor Terms & Conditions

These terms apply when you provide photographs to Matthew Blythe Photography (“we”, “our”, “us”) for the purpose of creating and selling AI art posters. By submitting your work, you agree to the following:

1. License to Use Images

  • You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide license to use the photographs you supply for the purpose of creating AI-generated poster artwork and marketing those posters.

  • You retain full copyright to your images.

2. Materials Provided

  • You may be asked to provide a main image for adaptation, and optionally reference images (e.g. detail shots of signage, textures, or other perspectives).

  • Providing additional reference images is optional but may improve the final artwork.

3. Acceptance of Submissions

  • We are not obliged to accept or use every image submitted.

  • If we decide not to use your image(s), no license fee or payment will be due.

4. Sales and Royalties

  • For every poster sold that is based on your submitted image(s), you will earn 10% of the retail sale price.

  • Royalties are calculated on completed sales only (excluding refunds or cancelled orders).

  • Payments are made monthly, via bank transfer or PayPal.

5. Credits

  • You will be credited as the contributing photographer on our website and/or marketing materials, unless you request otherwise.

6. No Guarantee of Sales

  • We may create poster artwork from your image(s) and later decide not to sell the print, or to discontinue it at any time.

  • No royalties are due unless a poster based on your image is actually sold.

7. Exclusivity

  • The license is non-exclusive. You are free to use, sell, or license your photographs elsewhere.

8. Modifications

  • We may adapt, edit, or modify the submitted image(s) as part of creating the final poster artwork. This includes use of AI tools, cropping, colour changes, or combining with other reference materials.

9. Termination

  • You can withdraw your permission for us to use your photographs at any time by giving us written notice. Posters already created and offered for sale may continue to be sold for up to 3 months after notice, with royalties continuing to be paid.

10. General

  • By submitting your images, you confirm you are the copyright holder or have the rights needed to grant this license.

  • We are not liable for any third-party claims if you submit images you do not have the rights to.

✦ Plain English summary: You always own your photos. We only use them to make posters. You get 10% of sales. We might not use every image. If we don’t sell the poster, you don’t get paid — but you never lose your rights.
